A dust sheet is a simple product with two real requirements: it has to absorb drips rather than let them run through, and it should cover a room in as few pieces as possible. Wide, mid-weight plain cotton — often woven from recycled or seconds yarn — is exactly this.

How wide can a dust sheet cloth be woven?
Up to 140 inches, so a large room is covered in one or two pieces instead of several seamed panels.
What is the minimum order for dust-sheet fabric?
100 m greige. This is a natural fit for the low minimum — no dyeing, no per-colour minimum.
