Stable and summer sheets use a breathable, tough cotton that stands up to a horse and to regular washing. Heavy plain canvas and duck, often in a jute or check pattern, dyed or in natural.

Finish: Piece-dyed, water-repellent for turnout liners
Firm plain duck for hard-wearing stable sheets where drape matters less than abrasion.

Common questions
Is cotton suitable for a turnout rug outer?
For the traditional canvas turnout, yes, with a water-repellent and rot-resist finish. Modern lightweight turnouts use coated synthetics; we serve the canvas segment.
Can you weave a check or stripe?
Yarn-dyed checks and stripes are possible; send the pattern and colours and we will confirm the setting and minimum.
