Cotton Canvas for Awnings & shades

Awning cloth needs UV and weather resistance, dimensional stability under tension, and a finished face that sheds water. Solution-dyed acrylic dominates the market; cotton and cotton blends are chosen for a natural look, a specific heritage aesthetic, or a customer's material spec.

What we recommend

Dyed heavy canvas with a proofing finish — traditional awning look, seamless wide drops.

What awnings & shades buyers ask us

Is cotton suitable for outdoor awnings?

With a water-repellent and rot/mildew-resist finish, yes, for the traditional look. For maximum lifespan in harsh UV, solution-dyed acrylic outlasts cotton; we will say so rather than oversell.

Can you match an awning stripe colour card?

Yes, piece-dyed to a signed lab dip. Per-colour minimum is 1,000 m.
